Our June Wine Tasting Event with Henners

On Tuesday, the 18th of June, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive wine tasting experience with Henners Winery to celebrate English Wine Week. Guided by Collete O’Leary, Henners' esteemed Head Winemaker, and our own General Manager and wine connoisseur, Mauro, the evening was a true celebration of fine English wines.

Exploring Henners Wines

Nestled in the coastal vineyards of Herstmonceux, East Sussex, Henners Winery is renowned for its exceptional collection of award-winning still and sparkling wines. Each bottle reflects the dedication and expertise of a small, passionate team committed to crafting wines that embody the essence of their unique terroir.

An Evening of Discovery

Guests had the opportunity to delve into Henners' rich history, sustainability practices, and the meticulous process behind crafting their wines. Collete O’Leary led a comprehensive tasting session, offering insights into the flavour profiles and craftsmanship that define Henners wines. From crisp, aromatic whites to elegant, effervescent sparklings, each wine showcased during the event exemplified Henners' commitment to quality.

Gastronomic Delights

Throughout the evening, our chefs complemented the wine tastings with a selection of exquisite canapés.

Gratitude and Looking Ahead

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this special evening. Your enthusiasm and passion for fine wines made the event truly exceptional. We look forward to creating more unforgettable experiences that celebrate the craftsmanship and artistry of exceptional wines like those from Henners.
